About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Vice-President to join our team at IDC Technologies (Canada) Inc. in a permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for allocating resources, establishing objectives, and representing the organization in negotiations and official functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Objective Setting: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Leadership: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.
  • Event Management: Manage events and ensure their successful execution.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews to assess employee performance and provide feedback.
Work Environment

The Operations Vice-President will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and organizational skills. The successful candidate will be willing to travel regularly and internationally.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, efficient interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
