Organizational Design Specialist

Sierra Space is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Organizational Design Intern to join our Human Resources team. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in organizational design, culture transformation, and change management.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the analysis and design of organizational structures, roles, and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support the development and implementation of programs aimed at improving organizational effectiveness.
- Conduct research on best practices in organizational design and human resource management.
- Compile and analyze data related to workforce planning, team member surveys, and organizational performance.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to support decision-making and communication within the HR team and across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address organizational challenges and implement effective HR solutions.
- Document development processes, technical specifications, and user guides for HR initiatives and programs.
- Participate in HR meetings and provide input on current practices and potential enhancements.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Must have at least one academic term remaining after the completion of the internship.
- Students must be a Sophomore, Junior or Senior undergraduate student or enrolled in a Master's or Ph.D. Program.
- Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
- Strong organization skills and work ethic; detail oriented.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Enrolled in or completed a Master's or Ph.D. program in Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- Prior experience/internships in organizational development, human resources, or related areas.
- Comprehensive understanding of change management processes and methodologies.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Familiarity with contemporary leadership development programs and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough and impactful research to inform organizational development strategies.
- Outstanding writing skills, with the capacity to produce high-quality reports, training materials, and presentations.
Compensation:
$17.60 - $30.80 per hour.
