Job Summary:

At Inspiretci, we are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician / Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on food manufacturing equipment, including repair and replacement of mechanical and electrical components.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular preventative maintenance inspections to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
  • Welding and Fabrication: Perform welding and fabrication tasks to repair or replace equipment components.
  • Plumbing and HVAC: Repair and maintain plumbing and HVAC systems to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Painting and Coatings: Apply paint and coatings to equipment and facilities to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the efficient operation of our food manufacturing facility.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a maintenance or mechanical role, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with experience in welding, plumbing, and HVAC.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:

This role operates in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on food production. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
