About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Specialist to join our team at BOS Innovations. As an experienced professional in the field of industrial automation, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing cutting-edge automation solutions for our clients.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and integrating automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and robots. Your expertise in automation programming languages, such as Structured Text, and your experience with industrial networking protocols will be invaluable assets to our team.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about automation and has a strong background in electrical or mechatronics engineering. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team, combined with your excellent communication skills, will make you a valuable asset to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automation systems, including PLC programs, HMI interfaces, and robot integration
  • Program and test automation systems, ensuring they meet CSA safety standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation systems with existing infrastructure
  • Provide technical support and training to colleagues and clients
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automation technologies and industry trends

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, with a focus on PLC programming and robot integration
  • Strong background in electrical or mechatronics engineering
  • Proficiency in Structured Text programming language and industrial networking protocols
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
