We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Tricosta Foods Ltd. as a key member of our culinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Operations: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and implement procedures to maintain high standards.
- Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and provide guidance and support to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, and maintain equipment and facilities to ensure they are in good working order.
- Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery, and communicate effectively with colleagues and management to resolve any issues.
- Work Setting: The role will be based in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Physical Demands: The role requires standing for extended periods, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
- Work Hours: The role will require working a minimum of 30 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours during peak periods.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is required.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
