Your Contributions to the Team

As an Industrial Engineering Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Defining floor plans for production assembly lines
  • Analyzing aircraft flow, parts, equipment, and manpower
  • Identifying and participating in improvement projects (Kaizen)
  • Defining and producing optimal line balancing for specific rates
  • Establishing detailed manpower requirements (work centers, crew type, shift)
  • Determining production capacity (manpower, equipment)
  • Producing daily production schedules (charts)
  • Collecting, documenting, and maintaining manufacturing data (loads, capacity, equipment, footprint)
  • Participating in analyzing and establishing production standard times
  • Establishing detailed value stream mapping

Requirements for Success

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • A College or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong logical and mechanical skills
  • A great capacity to simplify tasks
  • Organizational skills, rigor, initiative, and autonomy
  • Leadership, patience, perseverance, curiosity, and a willingness to take on challenges
  • Proficiency in Excel and MS Project
  • Familiarity with the aerospace industry and furniture manufacturing (an asset)
  • Communication skills (oral and written) in French and English (an asset)
