About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our Wholesale Operations team at Adria Chemicals & Abrasives Inc. This is a key leadership position that requires a strong understanding of the wholesale industry and the ability to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and increase market share.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of business objectives.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the wholesale business, including the allocation of resources, establishment of departments, and coordination of work.
  • Financial Management: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning.
  • Communication: Represent the organization in negotiations and other official functions, and delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, organized, and a team player.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to manage a large workload.

Language and Work Hours

The primary language of work is English, and the work hours are 40 hours per week.
