About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Functional Analyst to join our Cybercrime IT Delivery team at National Bank. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving the development of innovative and efficient solutions that protect and prevent financial crimes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Guidance: Provide strategic guidance to IT teams to develop solutions that meet business needs and drive business value.
  • Transformation Management: Identify and mitigate impacts in transformation projects, ongoing programs, and new initiatives to ensure successful delivery.
  • Requirements Management: Ensure the link between business requirements and the development team to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
  • Functional Analysis: Identify and document functional requirements to inform solution development.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Contribute to different test phases, including strategy, plan, test case definition, and test execution.
About the Team

You will be part of a team of 135 colleagues and report to the Senior Integration Manager. Our team is known for its attention to detail, quality of delivery, and great collaboration. We foster a culture of continuous learning, including learning in action, training content, and collaboration with colleagues of diverse expertise and profiles.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or university degree related to the industry.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in functional analysis on Rest API and micro-services.
  • Agile Scrum Delivery: Experience with Agile Scrum delivery methodologies.
  • Communication: Easy communication and ability to popularize complex IT concepts.
  • Meeting Objectives: Focused on meeting objectives and deadlines.
  • Fraud and Compliance: Knowledge of fraud and compliance, an asset.
