Drafting Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Drafting Technician to join our team at Tiltco Architectural Products. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed engineering designs and drawings, working closely with clients, engineers, and production specialists to ensure product requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate and detailed engineering designs and drawings using software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Develop and prepare design sketches and presentations to communicate ideas and concepts.
- Estimate costs and materials, and prepare construction specifications and contracts.
- Write technical reports and specifications, and complete documentation packages and drawing sets.
- Examine drawings for conformity and errors, and consult with clients and engineers to resolve any issues.
- College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
- 5 years or more of experience in drafting and design, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and presentation software.
