We are seeking a skilled Drafting Technician to join our team at Tiltco Architectural Products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering design and drafting, with experience in preparing technical drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings using software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications to determine work requirements.
  • Develop and prepare design sketches and presentations.
  • Estimate costs and materials for construction projects.
  • Prepare contracts and tenders for clients.
  • Write technical reports and specifications.
  • Examine drawings for conformity and errors.
  • Consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements.

Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years or more of experience in engineering design and drafting.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with ability to work independently.
