Are you a detail-oriented and organized administrative professional looking for a challenging role in the Government of Alberta? We are seeking a highly skilled Section Administrator to support the Crop Assurance Programming Section.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide administrative support to the Director and Section, including budgeting, forecasting, and coordination of meetings and events.
- Review, edit, and proofread correspondence, and identify and bring urgent and important concerns to the attention of the Director.
- Oversee the approval process for ARs, travel, hosting approval, contracts/grants, and expense claims.
- Prepare section budget and forecast material for Director's review, and assist with the forecast rollup for the branch.
- Develop and maintain effective communication and working relationships with other Branch Administrators.
- Proven administrative experience, preferably in a government or related organization.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
