Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team at AULAK CONSTRUCTION LIMITED. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality flooring installations that meet their needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate measurements and efficient installation processes.
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to provide a stable and even surface for flooring installation.
  • Measure, cut, and install carpeting and resilient floor coverings, ensuring a precise fit and professional finish.
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, restoring them to their original condition.
  • Estimate costs and materials, providing accurate quotes to clients and ensuring that projects are completed within budget.
  • Perform direct glue-down carpet installations, ensuring a strong and durable bond between the carpet and the subfloor.
Requirements
  • Physically demanding work environment, requiring manual labor and attention to detail.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent judgement and decision-making skills, ensuring that installations are completed to the highest standards.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve project goals.
  • Permanent work arrangement, with a regular 35-hour workweek.
  • English language proficiency, with excellent communication skills.
