This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, managing team performance, and fostering a collaborative environment to optimize processes and meet business objectives.**What you will do:*** Provide leadership, processing guidance and oversight to the Surety Underwriting Assistants (UA) team, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.* Mentor, coach, and develop team members, fostering professional growth and skill development.* Manage team performance by conducting performance reviews and career developing discussions.* Lead continuous improvement of operational workflows to enhance service and effectiveness.* Manage and oversee key projects, particularly those related to Surety IT initiatives, ensuring timely execution and successful outcomes.* Analyze performance data and metrics to make informed decisions and recommendations for process improvements.* Facilitate open communication channels within the team and across departments to ensure cohesive operations.* Manage key relationships with our critical partners in Distribution located across the country.**What you bring:*** University degree or college diploma in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a management or supervisory role within the insurance or financial industry.* Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in presenting to and engaging with various audiences.* Demonstrated problem solving abilities, attention to detail and decision making.* Experience with process improvement methodologies and tools.* No Canadian work experience required but must have authorization to work in Canada#LI-HybridIl s'agit d'un nouveau rôle au sein de notre équipe en plein croissance | This role is a new member of our growing team.***We are an equal opportunity employer****At Intact, our Value of respect is founded on seeing diversity as a strength.
