The Project Manager will be responsible for managing key cross-functional projects and their underlying activities. This role will oversee the coordination and administration of all aspects of any ongoing projects including planning, organizing, staffing, leading, budgeting where applicable and controlling program activities. Cross-functional teams will include IT, Network and Engineering, Control Center Channel Support, CARE, Distribution, Marketing & Sales, Finance, Billing and Collections, Learning and Development, Process Management, HR and Legal.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Plan, coordinate and implement all phases of assigned projects of varying complexity, organizational visibility, and defined value, while ensuring reliability, quality, and delivery time meets or exceeds customer expectations.
2. Work with the Executive sponsor and Business owner to develop project scope and business acceptance criteria.
3. Coordinate across all departments and disciplines to ensure timely and quality product and service deliverables to the project.
4. Develop comprehensive communication plans and oversee the transition to Operations Support teams to ensure seamless deployment.
5. Develop and maintain project management documentation and materials for cross-functional teams including interaction with various subject matter experts to obtain input for new and/or revised procedures.
6. Monitor project status on a daily basis. Identify and escalate risk and issues as appropriate.
7. Demonstrated advanced written communication skills with the ability to position communication to align with business goals and corporate messaging.
8. Exceptional interpersonal, verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with all levels of the organization.
9. Strong time management skills with an attention to details and strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize is required.
10. Proven experience in managing Project Coordinators, assigning accountability and responsibility to project administrative tasks.
11. Proven business acumen, professionalism and tact in representing the company to our customers (both internal and external).
12. Excellent relationship-building skills and demonstrated experience working within cross-functional teams and/or Projects including Project administration.
13. Ability to multitask and to shift smoothly between and amongst many different Projects and initiatives and ability to handle multiple assignments with tight deadlines.
14. Comfortable working within a fast-paced, dynamic environment, is self-directed and able to work with uncertainty and working well under pressure in a Team environment.
15. Strong customer service orientation.
16. Data management and systems testing experience is an asset.
17. Broadband / telecom background is an asset.
18. Professional accomplishments that reflect strong leadership, dynamic, interpersonal skills, effective decision-making, and technical expertise.
19. A strong working knowledge of MS Office (in particular MS Project, Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) and advanced skill in flowcharts.

The ideal candidate will possess:

1. Post-secondary education in a related field combined with 3+ years of relevant work experience.
2. Previous project management experience in a customer focused environment (minimum 3 years).
3. Telecom industry knowledge an asset.
