Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily activities of our warehouse, ensuring efficient distribution of products and maintaining high standards of safety and organization. This position requires strong leadership skills and experience with various warehouse equipment.

Duties

- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts to facilitate loading and unloading of goods.
- Fulfill daily tasks to ensure efficiency in operations.
- Engage in heavy lifting and manual handling of goods while adhering to safety protocols.
- Participate in packaging and preparing items for shipment.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and cycle counts.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize supply chain processes and improve overall productivity.
- Support shipping & receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment while adhering to safety regulations.

Skills

- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar roles is required.
- Familiarity with mechanical operations and heavy equipment operation is required.
- Strong understanding of packaging techniques and order fulfillment processes.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Job Details

- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: From $20.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
- Education: Secondary School (preferred)
- Licence/Certification: Drivers Licence (required), Forklift Certification (required)
- Location: Collingwood, ON (preferred)
- Work Location: In person
