Speech-Language Pathology Therapy AssistantRequired for St. Paul EducationSt. Paul Education invites applications from qualified individuals for the Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) position. The SLPA will provide effective Speech and Language Therapy services to students in our schools by working collaboratively with the Inclusive Education team, educational staff, and families. Reporting to the Director of Inclusive Education and Early Learning and working under the direction of the Speech Language Pathologist, the SLPA will support and promote the success of all students as part of a multidisciplinary team across the school division. This is a full-time, 10-month position offering a comprehensive benefits plan. This position commences on August 27, 2025.Preference will be given to applicants who possess:Completion of a diploma from an accredited post-secondary Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program.Knowledge of speech and language milestones for children.Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.Strong written and oral communication skills.Knowledge of documentation procedures and proficiency with technology.Valid driver's license.Experience working as a multi-disciplinary therapy assistant is an asset.Duties of the Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant will include:Provide universal, targeted, and individualized support and services under the direction of the Speech Language PathologistCollaborate with other members of the Inclusive Education support team.Administer screening protocols, including hearing screenings selected by the supervising SLP.Facilitate small group and individual services to students in schools.For more information, contact Ms. Sha-Lyn Tichkowsky, Director of Inclusive Education and Early Learning, at 780-645-3323, or by email, Qualified persons wishing to be considered for this position are invited to complete an online portfolio at .
