The Human Resources Manager works closely with leadership to align HR initiatives with Ontario's business objectives and strategic priorities. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, this role focuses on talent and employee development, succession planning, performance management and HR project initiatives.

The Manager is responsible for driving change strategies that foster a high-performance culture, leveraging diagnostic and influencing skills to collaborate with leaders on enhancing performance, business outcomes, and employee engagement. They proactively identify strategic gaps and opportunities, developing a comprehensive HR plan to address root causes effectively.

What you should expect:

- Provide strategic direction for HR policies, programs, and initiatives across the Ontario region.
- Oversee all aspects of HR management, including but not limited to talent acquisition, development, and performance management.
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to understand their talent needs and develop strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
- Partner with the business to drive HR initiatives and projects at both the regional and company-wide levels.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders, guiding on HR-related matters and conflict resolution.

What you should bring:

- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 4 + years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on talent management, talent development, and performance management.
- Demonstrated experience driving organizational change.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to think strategically and translate HR strategy into actionable plans.
- SHRM or HRPA certification preferred.
