We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager to join Computacenter. This position will be responsible for managing and growing our relationship with the Department of National Defence and the Intelligence space within Canada.
Responsibilities
- Partners with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and values.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders within the Department of National Defence and Intelligence.
- Provides timely customer meetings and follow-ups, as well as information before these meetings.
- Creates and implements strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and drive growth within assigned accounts.
- Remains informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies relevant to the defence sector.
- Identifies customer needs and proposes tailored IT solutions addressing those needs, leveraging Computacenter's full portfolio of services and products.
- Works closely with Sales Managers, Vendors, and Internal Resources to ensure open communications and delivery of contracted solutions to customers.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for the Department of National Defence and Intelligence, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement.
- Understands and abides by all security and operational policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably within the IT or defence sectors.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada and able to obtain and maintain required security clearance.
- Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Good knowledge of technology and industry channel dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with ability to present in a group setting.
- Strong understanding of the Department of National Defence's structure, procurement processes, and IT requirements.
- Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
