Position Summary

The Housing First ICM Team Leader oversees the daily operations and development of clinical operations, leading an inclusive, collaborative, learning-oriented transdisciplinary team. Reporting to the Director, Clinical Services (DCS), the ICM Team Leader develops, implements, monitors, and evaluates the clinical program, in alignment with RainCity principles, policies and practices.

The ICM Team Leader promotes the interests of the client population and ensures the program is appropriately integrated with other systems of care. In addition to their operational role, the ICM Team Leader also provides direct counseling services to clients.

POSITION TYPE: Full-time, 1.0 FTE, 80 Weekly Hours

EMPLOYEE GROUP: Excluded

SALARY RANGE: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 annually

TERM: Permanent

START DATE: As soon as possible

SCHEDULE: General hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm. Requirement to participate in after hours on call rotation.

Program Summary

Maple Ridge Intensive Case Management (ICM) plays a vital role in the continuum of services and supports for people with serious mental illness and substance use issues in BC. The ICM Team assists clients by helping them to identify and achieve personalized recovery goals.

Qualifications

- A bachelor’s level degree in healthcare, health services administration or a related field
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience with programs that deliver direct service to individuals living with mental illness, substance use and physical health issues; two (2) years of this experience should include supervising or managing programs
- Active registration with a regulatory college under the Health Professions Act (HPA).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- A clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check (VS CRC)
- Class 5 driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Skills, Abilities & Knowledge

- Plan and direct a supported housing program
- Understand, interpret, explain and apply municipal, provincial, and federal policy
- Present proposals and recommendations clearly
- Prepare clear, concise and comprehensive correspondence, reports, studies and other written materials
- Consult effectively with managers to develop solutions to complex organizational issues
