Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Performs daily duties by following established operational procedures, including operating test equipment and motorized vehicles provided by Cogeco.
2. Uses various test devices and software to determine condition and disposition, identifying and assigning preliminary fault information for units requiring repair.
3. Performs database and administrative procedures for HTD Testing & Refurbishing, Order Fill, Shipping, and Receiving, including fulfilling equipment orders and managing digital boxes, modems, phones, and literature.
4. Fulfills Storefront orders for equipment.
5. Processes equipment returns from all sources, including Customers, Contractors, and Technicians.
6. Salvages accessories and maintains units within the work area for deployment.
7. Sorts kit accessories and literature for the Kitting work cell; segregates damaged goods for disposal.
8. Packages and labels equipment for redeployment, furtherance, or storage.
9. Disposes of corrugate and empties garbage bins.
10. Ensures compliance with daily 6S procedures.
11. Participates in physical inventory counts.
12. Follows security procedures to safeguard TDC operations and contents.
13. Contributes to team efforts by completing related tasks and projects as required.

Employees must take all necessary health and safety measures, use personal protective equipment, and comply with all safety policies. They should be attentive and responsive to customer needs, resolving issues professionally and promptly.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Academic Training: High School diploma required.

Work Experience:

- 1-3 years in a distribution or packaging environment.
- Certification and experience with Skid Wrapper, Pump truck, Forklift, Raymond Reach preferred.
- Experience testing and validating equipment is an asset.
- Knowledge of Basic CATV materials and Oracle Financial system is an asset.

Specific Competencies:

- Knowledge of MS Office, WHMIS, and MSDS.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to exercise tact, judgment, and discretion with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks.

Physical Demands and Visual Acuity:

- Must lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Work in a warehouse environment, including all climatic conditions.
- Flexible hours as needed.
