Dietary Aide - Temporary Part Time (Grocery & Cleaner) - Guildwood page is loaded## Dietary Aide - Temporary Part Time (Grocery & Cleaner) - Guildwoodlocations: LTC - Guildwood Villa (Guildwood Pkwy.) 60 Guildwood Parkway Scarborough, ONtime type: Part timeposted on: Posted Yesterdaytime left to apply: End Date: November 19, 2025 (10 days left to apply)job requisition id: R27354**Job Description**This posting is for Extendicare Guildwood at 60 Guildwood Parkway, Toronto, ON.This posting is for the Grocery (GRO) position Position Type: Temporary Part Time (45 hours bi-weekly)- Responsible for receiving groceries in good condition and within proper temperature and putting away groceries.- Organizing fridge, freezer, and dry storage unit using FIFO.- Able to tolerate working in cold conditions in walk-in fridge and freezers (4C and -18C conditions).- Ability to lift over 50lbs, kneel, and squat.- Cleaning duties such as cleaning oven, dishwasher, fridges, floor using chemicals, steam cleaner, etc.- Handling cleaning chemicals following PPE & WHMIS precautions.What you bring* Successful completion and/or enrollment in a Food Service Worker Program meeting the requirements of the Ontario Long-Term Care Homes Act required. If enrolled, you must complete the program within three (3) years of hire date.* Current Food Handler`s Certificate* Previous dietary experience preferred in LTC (Long Term Care) Home 0-1 year(s).* Must be able to stand for extended periods of time* Ability to read and write English as well as to understand simple verbal and written instructions in English.* Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures.* Must be able to do moderate to heavy lifting* Successful candidates must be available for workdays, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays**Time Type:**Part timeWhen you choose to build your career with Extendicare, you’re joining a team dedicated to making a difference.
