In 2004, Yummy was born in a small kitchen with one chef, one driver and one big dream, to provide healthy and nutritious meals and snacks to schools, childcare centers, and camps. Today Yummy is one of the largest kids catering company in Ontario.

We are currently seeking a full time Dietary Aide to join our team Previous experience working in a kitchen with a background in Nutrition will be an asset to this role.

**Responsibilities**:

- Follow and meet all pre-determined work routine and schedule
- Assists Supervisor daily in preparation of Special Diet menu items
- Always follows sanitation guidelines
- Ensure work area meets all health and safety standards
- Participates in proper storage and labeling of dietary supplies and food, including leftovers.
- Adheres to established departmental policies, procedures regarding quality assurance, safety, environment, and infection control.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications:

- Successful completion and/or enrollment in a Food Service Worker Program
- Previous experience working in a kitchen, minimum 1 year
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to read and write English as well as to understand simple verbal and written instructions in English.
- Must be able to do moderate to heavy lifting

Schedule:
Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30 pm

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Kitchen: 1 year (preferred)
