This position for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is located within the dynamic 6W Medical team. You will perform vital assessments and provide nursing care to patients, while administering medications in line with organizational policies. This role requires adherence to the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct patient assessments and care planning
• Administer oral and injectable medications
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary health teams
• Follow regulatory guidelines and organizational policies
• Participate in shift work with varying schedules
Requirements:
• Graduation from a recognized Practical Nurse program
• Full practicing licensure with BCCNM
• Current CPR certification required
• Acute care experience preferred
• Willingness to work flexible shifts Utilize your nursing skills in a supportive environment at Interior Health, making a real impact on patient care.
