Posting Number: T6-3994692 - Round 1 Description: Learning Services Teacher - Grades K-6 Location: Gordon Terrace Elementary School, Cranbrook, BC Contract Type: Part-time Temporary (0.45 FTE) Salary Range: The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $28,510 to $50,310, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. Benefits: We offer a competitive benefits package and pension. Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay). -Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification. -Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting. Job Summary: Learning Services Teacher - Grades K-60.45 FTE temporary contract, starting January 5, 2026 or upon completion of the posting process to June 25, 2026.Must have a degree/diploma or certification in Learning Services/Inclusive Education. Experience at the Elementary level would be considered an asset.This position is scheduled for Wednesdays and Thursdays. Please note that all work will be on site. Please note: Continuing teachers will need to vacate their continuing assignment in order to accept a temporary assignment, unless the FTE is greater in the temporary job posting.
