The opportunity
Contribute to the fulfillment of the facility’s annual objectives by analyzing financial data, supporting financial reporting, and assisting with projects, often involving a strong focus on a specific area of business. Key activities include ensuring data accuracy, supporting month-end processes.
What you will do:
- Financial data analysis: collect, analyze, and interpret financial information to support decision‑making.
- General ledger support: assist with the identification, configuration, and validation of general ledger entries, including journal entries, and provide assistance during system implementations or transformations.
- Month‑end support: support and coordinate month‑end closing procedures to ensure financial statements are accurate and timely.
- System validation: verify system outputs, identify discrepancies, and ensure accuracy, often within a corporate ERP system.
- Project support: assist in the implementation and support of business transformation projects, which may involve cross‑functional coordination.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience.
- CPA designation is considered an asset but not required.
- Experience with ERP system implementation, testing, or support is an asset.
- Proficiency with financial analysis.
- Strong analytical ability with a keen attention to detail is essential.
- Excellent organizational, time‑management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
