Senior Consultant - ServiceNow ITOM & Integration expert
Infosys is seeking a ServiceNow ITOM, ITSM Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating high‑level design artifacts, deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Responsibilities
- Interface with key stakeholders and contribute to the Software Development Life Cycle: Requirements elicitation, architecture design and testing.
- Deliver high quality code deliverables, lead validation for all types of testing and support implementation, transition and warranty activities.
- Maintain and update the CMDB/Discovery to provide an accurate, current view of the IT environment.
- Conduct CMDB/Discovery audits, identify and resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with defined policies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to collect and document configuration item details and develop lifecycle management processes for CIs.
- Provide training and guidance on CMDB/Discovery best practices and usage.
- Integrate CMDB/Discovery with other IT service management tools.
- Generate reports and dashboards to monitor CMDB/Discovery health and support decision‑making.
Required Qualifications
- Located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario or Calgary, Alberta, or willing to relocate. Travel may be required.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may substitute for a year of education.
- At least 8 years of Information Technology experience.
- Authorized to work in Canada without employer‑based visa sponsorship.
- Minimum of two ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist certifications (CMDB and Discovery).
- Expert proficiency working with the ServiceNow platform for global customers.
- Experience with design frameworks and methodologies, non‑functional requirements, architecture definition, design, scripting and solutioning.
- Language competency: English and French.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of two ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist certifications and ITIL v3/v4 foundation.
- Expert proficiency with ServiceNow platform for global customers and ITSM integrations.
- Experience running operations with ITIL processes and being ITIL certified.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, verbal and written communication skills.
- Creative thinking in implementing service improvements such as automation and incident reduction.
- Willingness and flexibility to learn new technologies, scale up quickly, and adapt to different roles.
- Experience writing RFP solutions, presenting during client visits, and leading geographically separated teams.
- Cross‑functional coordination and knowledge sharing across the organization.
- Ability to evaluate multiple products for compliance and recommend best solutions aligned with greenfield, cloud‑based, mobile‑first and zero‑customization principles.
- Experience designing and implementing client‑facing solutions and enterprise software integrations.
- Ability to propose data models, design changes and implement cost‑effective solutions.
- Strong project management and scheduling skills for releases, upgrades and technology deployments.
- Agile methodology and tooling experience.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Communication is required by telephone, email, or face to face.
Compensation
Ontario: $ 89,004 to $ 103,042
