Customer Service Coordinator, Construction

Position Summary

This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual to join a full-service real estate organization and launch a career in project handover and warranty in the area of new residential hi-rise construction.

Reporting to the Manager, Customer Service, Construction, the Customer Service Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the project team in providing inspection and quality control services through construction, in the handover of projects and for providing efficient and effective post construction customer service.

Please note this opportunity is a set 2 year contract to support our current and upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Participate in developing the project plan for inspections and handover
- Assist in the process to establish quality standards for suites and common areas
- Assist with the suite and common area quality control inspection process.
- Plan and schedule homeowner orientations for the project and suites.
- Prepare suites for handover.
- Attend to warranty requests including coordination of contractors.
- Participate in post construction audits and help to develop initiatives to improve processes and delivery of upcoming projects
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Enhance Concert's reputation as a preferred client and industry leader.

Required Knowledge & Skills

- A college diploma or a combination of post-secondary education and related experience
- Experience as a tradesperson is an asset.
- An understanding of construction terminology.

- Enthusiastic and ready to learn.
- High level of personal and professional integrity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer proficiency in Word and Excel.

Training

- Concert will provide a broad range of practical training for the position and opportunity to further education and skills training through its education program.
