Summary:

Under the supervision of CNC department head, the incumbent will set up and run CNC machines to prepare parts to the specifications for ongoing projects.

Job Terms:

Permanent, Full Time, shift rotation

Responsibilities:

- Program , set-up and machine large parts on 3/5-axis gantry-style CNC machines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work with limited supervision while staying on task to meet strict deadlines
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Solid 5- axis CNC experience, 2+ years of experience is preferred
- Willingness and ability to learn required control software
- Experience with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls is an asset
- Programming experience in WorkNC is preferred
- Knowledge of other CAM programs is an asset
- Availability to work rotational shifts and/or steady afternoon shift
- Ability to multi-task, while paying attention to detail
