Fraser Health is offering casual positions for Pharmacy Technicians at multiple community health centres, such as Crosstown Clinic and Hope to Health Centre. Successful candidates will possess community pharmacy experience or an interest in serving marginalized Mental Health and Substance Use populations. Adhere to protocols set by the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia while fostering collaborative healthcare practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Accurately process medication orders for clients
• Receive and ensure authenticity of prescriptions from practitioners
• Prepare and repackage medications as directed
• Conduct thorough checks for prescription accuracy
• Maintain accurate medication inventories and records
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program
• Valid registration with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication
• Physical ability to perform required tasks
• Organizational skills to manage workload efficiently Contribute to improved pharmacy services and patient care with Fraser Health in Vancouver.
