Job Summary

Role Overview

As the senior support to the Public Service Commissioner, you will provide a full range of executive administrative assistance. This position acts as the key contact/liaison with the Premier's and Ministerial offices, Deputy Ministers, and other senior officials within Yukon government, department staff, as well as other governments, external organizations, and members of the public.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior administrative and executive support
  • Coordinate travel and logistical arrangements
  • Manage schedules, casework processes, and briefing books
  • Draft correspondence and coordinate committee meetings
Essential Qualifications
  • Completion of post-secondary education in office administration, business administration, or related field
  • Extensive experience providing senior administrative and executive support in a government setting
  • Considerable experience providing secretariat functions to committees
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
