Join Fluid Life as a Laboratory Technician in Edmonton, AB, and engage in routine and advanced testing of oils, fuels, and coolant samples. This exciting full-time role focuses on quality and turnaround efficiency in a state-of-the-art lab.
This permanent position runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with occasional Saturday shifts. You will collaborate with lab staff to ensure timely analysis and accurate results. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will significantly impact our operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform testing according to ASTM, ISO, and internal methods
• Load and maintain analytical instruments and auto samplers
• Execute accurate data entry and results transfer
• Track lab supplies and manage restock processes
• Ensure quality control standards are met with each sample
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a Chemical Technology Diploma
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Good computer skills with knowledge of MS-Windows
