Become a pivotal part of OrganOx's mission as a Senior Electronics Design Engineer. This on-site role in Oxford offers a mix of hands-on design and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
At OrganOx, you will lead the design and development of electronic systems for innovative medical devices, engaging in both analogue and digital circuit design. You’ll work closely with regulatory and quality teams, ensuring compliance and reliability. Participate in mentorship and guide junior engineers while tackling challenging design problems through design reviews and prototype verification.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the design of electronic subsystems from concept to manufacturing
• Create and review schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer
• Collaborate on electronic architecture decisions with cross-functional teams
• Conduct design verification and functional testing
• Prepare high-quality technical documentation for medical devices
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering
• 7–10 years of industry experience in electronics design
• Experience with laboratory test equipment
• Knowledge of medical device standards preferred
