- Schedule: 4 on, 3 off 10 hours per day
- Compensation: Competitive wages, Benefits, Vacation Pay, Why Work for Us Stuart Olson is currently looking for experienced Labourer for our client site in Cold Lake, AB for a September 2026 start date for a full-time Maint role. Responsibilities Reporting to the Foreman, the Laborer assumes responsibility for all general Laborer duties required on industrial scope construction projects.
- Maintain Inventory of available materials.
- Execute preventative maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Breaking containment under air.
- Closing and opening valves on a regular basis.
- Address and elevate safety concerns.
- Operate shop equipment to include, but not limited to: vehicles, forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Load and unload materials and move materials to work area.
- Operate and care for equipment and machines.
- Maintain clean and safe equipment and work areas.
- Follow instructions/protocol/policy from crew Lead Hand and Foreman.
- Assist craft workers as necessary.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Foreman. Qualifications
- Experience as a general labourer in the construction industry an asset
- CSTS-09, Mandatory
- Emergency First Aid, Mandatory
- H2S Alive, Mandatory
- Valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract
- Pre-access Drug and Alcohol testing required
- Criminal record check required Working Conditions
- Overtime as required
- Working both indoors and outdoors in hot and cold weather conditions
- Working at heights
- Working in and around noise and dust
- Bending and kneeling
- Must be clean shaven
- Coveralls, safety glasses/goggles, hard hat and gloves are provided
- CSA approved steel-toed safety boots will be required Physical Requirements
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs.; Occasionally lift items weighing more than 50lbs. with assistance
- Stand or walk for long periods of time
- Use arms and hands to reach for, handle or manipulate objects
