We are now preparing for our upcoming commercial launch. This is an exciting and significant milestone in our journey to bring this ground-breaking technology to patients.

Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.

Meaningful work you will be a part of

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assist in placing purchase orders for materials, products, or services based on internal requests, inventory levels, and company needs.
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, confirm order details, and track delivery schedules. Address any issues related to product availability or delays.
- Help monitor stock levels to ensure products or materials are ordered in a timely manner and inventory is maintained at optimal levels.
- Enter purchase orders, invoices, and supplier data into procurement or inventory management systems. Ensure accurate recordkeeping and maintain purchase history files.
- Monitor the progress of orders, ensuring timely delivery and communicating delays or issues to the relevant teams.
- Support senior purchasing agents in negotiations by gathering market data, quotes, and relevant information needed for price or contract discussions.
- Perform research on suppliers, products, and market conditions to provide relevant information for purchasing decisions.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.

You will be successful in this role because you possess these attributes:

Education & Experience :

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field
- 4+ of experience working as a Purchasing Agent or similar role.

Requirements & Skills :

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and problem- solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast- paced environment.

Compensation

Kardium has listed the total cash compensation range (base salary + 5% RRSP contribution) that we expect to pay applicants for this role, as of the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. For candidates withmore or less experience than listed above, the pay range will be adjusted.

As a permanent employee, you will also participate in Kardium’s stock option plan.

- $63,000 – $80,000 (CAD Annually)

Total cash – the total cash we’ve listed for this position includes a base salary, plus a contribution to a Registered Retirement Savings plans (RRSP) to help support your financial goals.
