You willimplement, support, and optimize manufacturing systems and technology solutions that drive production efficiency, quality, and operational reliability within the brewery. As the primary IT and manufacturing systems expert for an assigned process area, you will partner closely with brewery stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and ensure technology solutions effectively support our 24/7 manufacturing environment. This position reports to the Manager Brewery Systems and works closely with Brewery Operations, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Corporate IT teams, managed service providers (MSPs), and brewery leadership to support manufacturing technology, continuous improvement initiatives, and operational excellence. What You’ll Be Brewing:
- Serve as the primary technical expert and trusted IT partner for an assigned brewery process area, providing support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for manufacturing systems while meeting service level expectations.
- Implement, maintain, and enhance manufacturing technology solutions, including manufacturing systems, control systems, and supporting infrastructure to improve operational efficiency, quality, and reliability.
- Analyze production and system performance data to identify trends, recommend process improvements, and support data-driven decision-making across brewery operations.
- Support and contribute to cross-functional projects by partnering with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Corporate IT teams to deliver system enhancements and process optimization initiatives.
- Conduct risk assessments, support cybersecurity compliance, and promote safe and secure operation of manufacturing systems through stakeholder education and adherence to regulatory and company standards. Key Ingredients:
- You have aBachelor’sdegreein Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- You have 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing systems engineering, process design, manufacturing technology support, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
- You are required to communicate and collaborate primarily with non-English-speaking stakeholders and teams located in Quebec. As a result, proficiency in French is mandatory for this role. The essential duties requiring knowledge of a language other than English are integral to the position and cannot be reassigned to other team members.
- You have experience working in a complex manufacturing environment, with Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) experience considered an asset.
- You possess strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with manufacturing technologies, including industrial networks, virtual environments, manufacturing applications, and control systems.
- You have experience using data analysis tools and methodologies to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational optimization.
- You demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and can effectively manage priorities in a fast paced, 24/7 operational environment.
- You communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You have knowledge of manufacturing system cybersecurity standards, risk management practices, and regulatory requirements.
