Join BlackBerry's Security Incident Response Team as a Cyber Threat Analyst Intern. This role emphasizes collaboration, and technical skills while responding to software-based cyber threats.
We are seeking a motivated student pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field. You will support our team by identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities while collaborating across diverse teams. This dynamic role requires an eagerness to learn and adapt, working with cutting-edge technologies to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop systems and workflows for scaling security efforts
• Use agentic tools to assess and remediate software vulnerabilities
• Triage vulnerabilities, evaluating risk with industry-standard metrics
• Coordinate timely response activities and offer practical solutions
• Continuously enhance knowledge for the security of BlackBerry customers
Requirements:
• Enrolled in a Computer Science or related degree program
• Experience with Python programming and debugging
• Ability to analyze code behavior in depth
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with secure software development lifecycle Bring your analytical skills and passion for cybersecurity to BlackBerry's innovative team.
