Work hours range from 0 to 37.5 per week, with shifts available on short notice or pre-scheduled to cover leaves. The Cancer Clinic Clerk schedules physician and patient appointments for the Cancer Clinic including booking and confirming appointments, registering patient referrals, arranging appointments at referral centres, requisitioning diagnostic tests/procedures, corresponding with the BC Cancer Agency (BCCA) and forwarding/obtaining patient files and other relevant information. Performs related clerical and reception duties.What should your application include?• A 5-minute typing test (45+ NWPM) from a recognized institution, completed within the past 48 months (non-supervised tests not accepted).
