We are looking for a healthcare business analyst to join our team of consultants in the Montreal office.

This position is in hybrid mode.

Functional expertise we are focused on right now:

1. Patient Appointment Booking

- Involves the configuration side to define booking slots, resource requirements, provider schedules, etc.
- Front-end for booking appointments (cancel, rebook, book series appointments, group appointments)
- Appreciation for some of the data that needs to be captured and reported about appointments

- Procedure and Medication Order flows

- More focused on Hospital environment, but also involving clinic and outpatient orders

- Knowledge of workflows and documentation of order fulfillment

- Normal case and exceptional case

Additional requirements:

- Knowledge of Healthcare and Healthcare IT (not Insurance)
- Prior experience as a business analyst, clinical informaticist or system analyst
- Working knowledge of techniques to document business requirements (User Stories, Use Cases, Sequence Diagrams, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and understand regulatory documents and translate to business requirements
- Passion for details that you can balance with business realities
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Knowledge and awareness of Canadian healthcare
- Bi-lingual English / French is a plus
