About the Role:
Vitacore Industries is looking for an Engineering Team Lead with a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation to develop, train, lead, and manage the engineering department. The engineering team plays a crucial role in setting up and maintaining manufacturing and recycling equipment, among many other projects. This individual will also work closely with the R&D team, assisting with various R&D-focused projects, manufacturing processes, facility improvements, or other projects required by the company, all the while applying your past experience.
Requirements:
1. Professional Certificate in Engineering registered with the Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC).
2. Professional Engineering designation (P.Eng).
3. Project management experience.
4. Proficient in English with strong communication skills, specifically report writing.
Experience and Related Skills:
1. 3-5 years leadership/managerial experience.
2. Engineering Design experience.
3. Programming experience.
4. Manufacturing or related mechanical experience.
5. Fabrication.
6. Prototyping.
7. Training and teaching Engineers in Training (EITs).
8. Solidworks.
9. MS Excel.
10. Programming language (at least one of the following): Python, Java, MATLAB, C, C++, C#, PLC.
11. Hand tools.
Designations in One or More of the Following Disciplines:
1. Mechanical.
2. Electrical.
3. Biomedical.
4. Physics.
5. Manufacturing.
6. Mechatronics.
7. Computer.
8. Master of Engineering is an asset.
Compensation Range:
1. From $100,000 to $115,000 CAD per annum.
2. Comprehensive medical and dental benefits.
