In this senior position, you will lead archaeological assessments while adhering to MCM standards and regulations. You'll be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion, emphasizing collaboration with Indigenous partners to ensure cultural sensitivity and heritage stewardship. Your mentorship will play a vital role in developing future archaeologists.
Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate archaeological assessments across northern Ontario
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and stakeholder communications
• Lead safety and risk management initiatives in fieldwork
• Review archaeological reports to ensure quality standards
• Build strategic partnerships and support proposal development
Requirements:
• Professional licence with MCM for archaeological work
• 10+ years consulting experience; 5+ in project leadership
• Strong understanding of Ontario archaeology and regulations
• Ability to mentor staff and foster a collaborative environment
• Experience with archaeological work on federal land Shape the future of heritage projects with your expertise at WSP in Northern Ontario.
