Bilingual End of Term Recovery Specialist

Position Summary:
As a Bilingual End of Term Recovery Specialist, the agent is responsible for contacting customers with an outstanding Lease Return invoice, for collection and resolution in a timely manner. The candidate will be required to demonstrate the ability to communicate with customers and dealers in a professional manner, balancing the requirement to collect with the ability to drive a positive customer experience. The candidate may be required to investigate gaps in internal and external processes by working with MBC Remarketing, MBFS Pre-Term Remarketing and Third Party inspection vendors. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to build good business relationships, and determine gaps in processes that may be investigated for overall Lease Return improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Establish contact with clients in a timely manner to arrange payment on lease end balances. Follow-up on accounts to ensure payment agreements are fulfilled. Gather facts and mediate disputes between customer and dealerships to find a mutually beneficial solution while maintaining brand loyalty.
2. May provide occasional support with Remarketing and Collections activities.
3. Respond to customer inquiries and provide proper documentation as requested. Complete accounts payable requests on legal fees. Accurately resolve outstanding work basket requests.
4. Effectively contribute to a team culture, by effectively collaborating with peers, Leader and Management team to suggest proactive enhancements that will enhance customer loyalty within a reasonable impact to residual risk, legal obligations and new sales.
5. Use communication, analytical and negotiation skills to troubleshoot and escalate mutually beneficial resolutions for high-risk accounts. For example, TKU, high balance and Credit Risk accounts in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
1. Bachelor's degree with focus in Business Administration, Computer/Information Science; Economics; or Finance is preferred.
2. 2 years of experience working in Remarketing is preferred.
Technical Skills:
1. Ability to collect data and establish facts and identify trends and variances.
2. Ability to integrate information from a variety of sources with varied levels of complexity.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication.
4. Proficient in MS Office, including MS Excel and MS Word.
5. Ability to problem solve and analyze data.
6. Demonstrates organizational and time management skills.
7. Bilingual French required.
