Your expertise in disability management and ability to foster collaborative relationships will be crucial as you adjudicate claims and develop tailored return-to-work plans. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and an empathetic approach to ensure compliance and enhance employee health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage occupational and non-occupational disability claims diligently
• Provide consultation on medical accommodation requests effectively
• Develop and monitor individual return to work plans
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and union representatives
• Maintain accurate documentation for appeals and formal processes
Requirements:
• Degree in relevant health or social sciences field
• 3-5 years experience in disability management
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage confidential matters with professionalism Support employee health initiatives through expert guidance and innovative case management at Niagara Health.
