GAGNÉ MÉTAL is seeking a Carpenter / Joiner to join its installation team. The selected candidate will participate in the fabrication and installation of exterior wood structures such as balconies, decks, stairs, and related components, working closely with our welders and metal installers/assemblers. Responsibilities Install wooden balconies and decks according to provided plans Perform exterior carpentry and joinery work: assembly, cutting, fitting, and finishing Collaborate with metal installation teams Maintain a clean, safe worksite in compliance with safety standards Work independently while following the directions of the team leader Required Qualifications Ability to read technical drawings and take precise measurements High school diploma or equivalent training Proficiency in French (required) Desired Skills Autonomous, detail-oriented, and meticulous Strong organizational skills Ability to work efficiently as part of a team Professional, positive, and proactive attitude Working Conditions Full-time – Permanent – 40 hours per week Day shift: 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday to Friday Competitive compensation based on experience and in accordance with CCQ wage scale Stable work environment within an established company Location: Montréal, QC H1E 3R2 About GAGNÉ MÉTAL Specializing in the fabrication and installation of metal structures and balconies for many years, GAGNÉ MÉTAL relies on a strong and dynamic team to deliver residential and commercial projects throughout Greater Montréal.
