Director of Operations

The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of customer service. Excellent communication skills are needed to liaise with our global sales offices and to motivate, grow, and support the School Directors and their management teams.
The Role
The Director of Operations has full operational responsibility for the success of the Canadian schools. This requires, but is not limited to:
- Setting a strategic vision
- Growing School Directors and their management teams
- Planning and sourcing of external accommodation options
- Ensuring our academic products are delivered across the region
- Financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting
- Managing cost drivers to ensure profitability and student satisfaction
- Close communication and collaboration with regional and head offices
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of operational and staff management experience
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Entrepreneurial leadership with strong skills to motivate and grow teams
- Strong analytical skills and experience in budgeting and/or forecasting
- Thriving in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to take charge and drive solutions
- Previous experience from working or studying abroad
- Previous experience within education management or travel operations is a plus.
