Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Customs Broker Rater located in Vancouver, BC. The Customs Broker Rater will be responsible for preparing and processing import documents, providing customer service to clients, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and coordinating with customs authorities. The role involves managing and classifying goods, ensuring proper tariff treatment, and collaborating with other departments to facilitate the smooth movement of goods across borders.

Qualifications

- Position available immediately
- Experience in Customs Brokerage
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Knowledge of Import procedures
- Understanding of International Trade regulations and compliance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in relevant software and technology (ITMR/ZOC)
- Certification in customs brokerage or a related field is a plus
