Opportunity Overview
The BM Group is looking for an organized, creative, and data-driven Digital Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting, full-time contract role covering a parental leave for approximately 12 months.
If you love blending strategy with design and have a passion for maintaining a strong, consistent digital presence, you will play a crucial role in managing our websites, social media channels, and digital advertising campaigns across our various business units.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Digital Presence & Web Management
- Maintain, update, and optimize company websites, focusing on SEO improvements and content freshness.
- Design and test engaging landing pages for various marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with developers, content creators, and business units to ensure all digital assets are consistent and on-brand.
- Support rebranding efforts for newly acquired companies.
Campaign Management & Analytics
- Plan, execute, and manage paid digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn).
- Analyze performance data to identify optimal target audiences and adjust campaigns to maximize ROI.
- Track and report on website traffic, campaign performance, and key metrics using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console.
Social Media & Content
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across all social media platforms.
- Conduct research on relevant hashtags and keywords to boost audience reach and engagement.
- Actively monitor and respond to comments and messages on social channels, maintaining a positive community presence.
- Attend occasional company events and job sites to capture high-quality photos and video content.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in digital marketing or a similar field.
- Technical Skills: Proven experience with SEO, SEM, Google Ads, and social media advertising platforms.
- Platform Proficiency: Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager, and Meta Business Suite.
- Web Knowledge: Comfortable working with content management systems like WordPress or Wix.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to analyze data, translate findings into actionable insights, and make strategic recommendations.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.
- Work Ethic: A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Bonus Assets: Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva or Adobe Suite) and a Diploma or degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or Business.
- Flexibility: Willingness to attend occasional evening or weekend events for content capture.
