Electrical Project Manager
To get the job done, you'll take ownership of contracts, budgets, timelines, and quality control, while ensuring safety and compliance at every step.
Here are some key responsibilities:
1. Contract & Change Management: You define and manage scope and risks, tackle change orders, and navigate the project scope changes using a clear and defined process. You guide the project team to ensure that all changes are accounted for and understood, especially in relation to how they affect electrical timelines and budgets.
2. Budgeting: On the budgeting front, you take the reins—forecasting, tracking, and managing the electrical budget for each project.
3. Project Planning and Scheduling: You ensure electrical specs and timelines are in sync with overall project execution. You develop, track, and adjust schedules to meet deadlines, proactively managing deviations.
A little about Wildstone. We're family-owned and operated, we take on projects in some of the most remote, challenging and exciting locations in western and northern Canada, and our goal is to always make a positive impact through community involvement where we work.
We take care of our teams with benefits that include health/dental/vision, RRSP matching, Employee and Family Assistance Programs, an Employee Recognition and Rewards Program and Unlimited Paid Time off after 3 years.
The starting salary range for this role is $90,000 – $120,000. The salary range maximum signifies required certification(s) and full job knowledge.
We're looking for these qualifications:
1. Professional Experience: You bring previous experience as a Red Seal Electrician supervising jobs or as an Electrical Project Manager, and you have a proven track record in power distribution, communication, and control systems.
2. Education & Qualifications: A Journeyperson Red Seal Electrician certification is required to ensure your technical expertise is up to the task.
3. Construction Knowledge: Your understanding of engineered drawings, specs, and construction schedules is essential for project success. With your knowledge of codes and standards you'll ensure our work complies with regulations.
4. Communication Skills: Whether it's interacting with stakeholders or clarifying project details, you communicate with confidence and clarity.
5. Computer Literacy: You're comfortable with MS Office 365 and familiar with HH2, Paperless, and Procore. Experience with Salus safety programs is a bonus.
At Wildstone, we believe in building more than just structures – we build careers. If you're ready to take your expertise to the next level and make an impact on our projects, we want to hear from you.
