Job Title: Operations Manager Location: St. Alphonse-Rodriguez, Quebec Reports to: Director and Deputy Director Employment Type: Full-time Position Summary The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational and administrative functions of the organization to ensure efficiency, compliance, and alignment with the organization’s mission. This role supports program delivery by strengthening internal systems, processes, and cross-functional coordination in an Indigenous non-profit environment. Key Responsibilities Operations & Administration Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient organizational functioning Develop, implement, and improve operational policies, procedures, and systems Manage office operations, facilities, and external relationships with correctional services and other agencies, Indigenous organizations and communities, etc. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, funder requirements, and relevant regulations Program & Organizational Support Collaborate with program and case management personnel to ensure operational needs support effective service delivery Support strategic planning initiatives and organizational growth efforts Serve as a key liaison between staff, leadership, and external partners Risk Management & Compliance Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies Ensure health, safety, privacy, and data protection standards are met Support Board governance processes and documentation where applicable Required Bachelor’s degree in business administration, non-profit management, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 3–5 years of experience in operations, administration, or management, preferably in a non-profit setting Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills Experience managing budgets, contracts, and operational systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in French and English       Core Competencies Mission-driven and values-aligned Strong attention to detail and follow-through Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Collaborative leadership style High level of integrity and confidentiality Application Apply by email to Staff@waseskun.net
