Rossdales Veterinary Surgeons is seeking to appoint a Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated and professional team working at our Newmarket Practice.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. You will need to work flexibly, as you will be required to do some early starts and/or late finishes as required. Normal working hours are between 8am to 6pm. Other hours will be required in accordance with business needs, including contribution to the weekend on-call rota and bank holidays. This will generally be recompensed as paid overtime.

You will also be required to travel for vettings, sales, pre-sales and scopes etc. Such trips might require staying away for one or more days and nights and this may also include travel abroad.

The role will suit a versatile, reliable, hard-working and motivated individual with an outstanding attention to detail, who is looking for a rewarding and challenging position within the equine veterinary industry. Please note, this is a physically demanding role that will require work outside in varied weather conditions.

You must be a competent horse handler, capable to provide veterinary technical assistance and support where required. Experience of the equine industry is essential; however full training will be provided to further expand your skills where necessary.
