Newmarket, Canada Veterinary Emergency Urgent Care and Referral Clinic of York Region Full time

Fully equipped emergency and referral clinic located in Newmarket, ON (Digital X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT, Endoscopy, Stem Cell/PRP, Fully Equipped ICU, Brand New In House Digital Cytology) looking to add to our team of RVTs. We are looking for full and part time VTs who are interested in utilizing their skills to the fullest potential. New grads welcome

The ideal applicant must:

- Be confident with triage, anesthesia, nursing, surgical assisting and communication
- Have interest in improving and learning new skills.
- Exceptional organizational and problem solving skills
- Have a positive attitude and teamwork mentality
- Be able work under pressure
- Be punctual and reliable
- Be able to work independently
- Availability to rotate through days, nights, weekends and holidays is a must.
- Registered Veterinary Technicians must be in good standing with OAVT

Full time staff is provided with a great benefit package after 3 months, paid OAVT dues and yearly CE allowance after one year, staff pet discounts and meds and food at cost

Competitive above average salary to be determined based on experience
